New favorite Nuby goodies? I think SO! Recently we had the chance to try out the Nuby Garden Fresh Fruitsicle Popsicle Mold and we're in love. I have always been a big fan of making my own baby food… I like know what they're eating and exactly what ingredients are going into their little bodies. Snacks and desserts are no exception to that, and with the new Nuby molds - Its really easy! Each one holds 1oz of liquid for the popsicle. The handles are chunky and perfect for little hands to hold on to - and the shape makes a little drip tray of sorts keeping melty messes off their hands. 

Rozz and I came up with our own awesome recipe for our popsicles using all organic/gluten free ingredients.

We used:  

1 organic banana

1/2 cup of gluten free oatmeal

1/4 tablespoons of organic milk

1/2 cup organic strawberry yogurt… 

Blended it all together and YUM! I love when looking at it you can see the little bits of oatmeal inside… such a healthy and nutritious cool treat that I would have no problem handing over and calling it breakfast or dessert. (You will have leftovers as the trays hold 4 ounces total. The tray & parts are freezer safe (obviously) but you can also just throw it in the dishwasher when you're done. My ONLY suggestion is I wish that the tips of the outer white piece had some silicone bottoms like their Pop Up Freezer Pots (see below) so they were just a little easier to get out. We broke the first popsicle pulling it out but all the rest came out pretty easily. I think that would be an easy solution that that minor issue.

Now, lets rewind here for a second… I told you you would have leftovers of our awesome popsicle recipe. But I didn't tell you what to do with them. First, grab your Nuby Garden Fresh Pop Up Freezer Pots… the have an awesome silicone bottom, lids that close nice and tightly, and a tray to keep them all nice and organized. 

You then poor all your leftover yumminess in these pots… put them in the freezer… and pull them out to thaw as needed for the baby :) Yes, of course we have a toddler… and a baby… and bigger kids… we have a lot of kids. So naturally leftovers get eaten right up over here. Seriously though - I LOVE these pots… Sometimes getting baby food out is such a pain… but with these you just push up from the bottom and they pop right out. Easy Peasy! Or if you want just take one out and let it thaw in the fridge then serve right from these little cups.

Nuby is no doubt always my go to brand for all my teething needs. They're affordable, washable, and lovable by both baby and mom. The newest one I had the opportunity to try out was the GumEez Teething toy and Gel. You'll also see I am mentioning the wipes again... but I'll explain why here in a bit. 

The GumEez teether is so awesome. It looks and feels like a pacifier... but instead of a standard nipple for sucking, it has what looks like a mouth guard. Its meant to shape to babies mouth and be perfect for chomping down hard with those incoming teeth. 

The teething gel that goes along with it is "a Fast Acting Pain Relief formula that is for both Day and Night. It is Benzocaine Free and contains All Natural Non-Toxic ingredients. Comes in All natural Tutti Fruitti Flavor!" Without naming names... the popular competition brand contains benzocaine... The FDA says using benzocaine products to stop mouth and gum pain can cause a rare and sometimes fatal condition called methemoglobinemia. Methemoglobinemia is a blood disorder where the oxygen that's carried through the blood to the tissue drops to dangerously low levels. In severe cases it can cause death."  On that note - stick to the Nuby natural teething gel... 

I personally believe there is no real age restriction on this set. It may be geared for babies but Rozzlyn is almost 3 now and loves chomping on it with her back teeth when they're bothering her. Then, combining it with the gel helps ease the pain... Now, my last but not least important mention is the wipes. I know we have talked about these before but I just have to bring them up again. Like the teething gel (and our new favorite toddler tooth paste) - its all natural and safe... these things are AWESOME. I keep them in my diaper bag and pull them out for dropped pacifiers, sippy cups, toys, etc. Since they're non-toxic they can drop, you can wipe, and then go right back in their mouth. For anything going into their mouths - these are a must have... With that, I finish up my teethig trio necessity list!

Baby #4 is on the way... Ill be 17 weeks tomorrow! Crazy how fast it is flying by already, but as RockerByeBaby creeps into the holidays it seems the days go by faster and faster. But - being the shop-o-holic that I am, it has been SUPER fun stashing things away for the baby. We're not finding out the gender this time, so the focus has been gender neutral goodies... when I saw the new designs of the Squeeze n Squeak toy and coordinating Paci-Finder, I just HAD To have them.

This part is probably cheezy, but Ill own up to it... when I was in Jr. High & High School my team was the "LaMoillie Lions" and for whatever reason that has still stuck with me after all these years - hence my love for this adorable little Lion duo. 

It is SO soft... SO smiley... SO squishy... SO squeaky... Because of the loop feature on the Paci-Finder. It makes it universal for all pacifiers. I have it shown here with the newborn Nuby pacifier that glows in the dark. It also features little looped tags at the top for sensory stimulation. The Squeeze n Squeak is just as cute, a little bigger, matches/coordinates with the Paci-Finder and is perfectly sized for little hands. It has cute little rings that clank together, as well as a squeaker toy inside for fun sounds. My favorite part is all the different textures to keep baby entertained. I can't wait until he/she is here to play with it!! Though its already getting plenty of love from Rozzlyn. Keeping her out of the baby bin is about impossible lately. But, how can I blame her when it is full of fun toys like these?

Holy buckets, have I ever been a failure at the blog. RockerByeBaby has been SO SO SO busy. I have about 500 pictures to filter, edit and list... countless emails to sort. BUT! I am here now, and that is what matters, right? Sure, lol Back with a vengeance with a weeks worth of posts AND kicking it off with a Nuby review. 

Recently Nuby sent me the Easy Clean Soap Dispensing Bottle Brush. This. Thing. Is. Rad. We're kinda out of the bottle stage around here so it has been used to clean all our awesome Nuby Sippy cups... *and yes, some of my coffee cups too - FRESH POTS* 

You fill it up with soap... screw it together... then push the button to dispense the soap from the top. It's that simple. It makes cleaning bottles and sippy cups super easy. And when you're done, it suctions to the counter by the bottom so it stands up.
