I am a huge fan the paper mobiles I have seen around lately... They come in all different shapes and textures, a rainbow of colors, and all different lengths. So when I came across Kate Mae Designs, I knew it was a shop we just had to get in on Ashley's baby shower.
Kate Mae Designs is a shop specializing in paper crafts... specifically, cards and mobiles. Finding a quality shop like Kate Mae Designs is really awesome for a shop like mine. Since we specialize in custom bedding and nursery decor, its often hard to find things like mobiles and other certain accessories that we just havn't taken on yet. Kate Mae offers custom paper mobiles that could be made to match any decor... in all different paper shapes to go with any theme or style. Like Butterflies... for the perfect girl's room.
Sparkling Black, White & Lime rectangles... For a sleek but dramatic accent. 
Or Smokey Gray & Yellow Circles... the perfect fit in Ashley's nursery...
Its true! Kate Mae Designs has given Ashely this modern baby mobile. Colors fading from Slate Gray to white... with a pop of yellow. It will be the perfect fit into Ashley's nursery for her little man. They are adorable over a crib or changing table for baby to look at, or just as a great accent to a bare corner of a room. I will definitley be headed to Kate Mae to have one made for Rozzlyn's room. Pink, Lime, Black, White, Zebra, Damask, Dots, Stripes..... yeah. All of that. The crazier the better for us :) But of course, they're aren't just for baby rooms. They are great in any room to bring a little color out, and add a little visual interest.

Wordless Wednesday: Making Ornaments
Some of you heard last week, but the other day we learned that one of the boxes that got left behind, was the ornaments box :( Now, this breaks my heart... and I was super upset about it, but I am moving forward... so Im not going to mention that it had zaq's 30 year old first baby ornament, the boys' first ornaments, all 4 of my collectors edition Nightmare before Christmas stockings, etc. etc etc. Im not going to mention any of that stuff... it'll make me bitter. *head/desk* Anyways... in an attempt to pull out of the funk I was in, I loaded up the boys and we headed to the craft store for supplies... paper, glue, paints, "blue balls" as Izzaq said... and clips. Rushed back to the house... and made our own ornaments. It was lots of fun, and here is a sneak peak into what we did. I have more to make but when I finish, ill take a picture of all of them together :)
